Become A More Confident Speaker

This workshop can be 90 minutes or 3 hours or one full day.

Women who communicate confidently are more successful! In part, that’s because when you convey confidence, people are more likely to feel confident about you and what you’re saying. This is true whether you’re speaking one-on-one, in a small group, or to a large audience. This is also true because a confident woman is more likely to speak up and share her ideas, opinions, and expertise.

In this workshop, participants learn skills, insights, and practices to help them speak more confidently – immediately. They explore confidence from the physical, cognitive, linguistic, and behavioral perspectives, and they learn how to sound, feel, and look confident.

SPEAKING ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS

This is a 3-hour workshop for people who want to develop great elevator speeches.

Different settings call for different responses to the question, “What do you do?” Sometimes you need one great sentence, sometimes you need a story or facts, a testimonial or humor. You need a variety of messages to let others know how you can solve their problems. But you should be ready to deliver any of them in the time it takes to finish an elevator ride.

Your elevator speech can lead to conversations, referrals, and business. Or it can lead nowhere. Elevator speeches are the way we get others interested in what we do, how we do it, and the benefits we provide. Is yours dull, ordinary, routine?  You can make it interesting and appealing. This workshop is an opportunity for inspiration, new ideas, and feedback in an encouraging environment.

There’s a lot more to your elevator speech than the words you say. People are paying attention to how you say it too. The sound of your voice, the volume, the pace, what you choose to emphasize – it all matters. You are sending messages by the way you stand, sit, move, gesture, and by your expression. This workshop is a chance to improve the way you deliver your infomercials, so that people want to know more about your business.
